Subjects Taught
First Grade

I was born and raised in Cartersville, Georgia.  I  graduated from Darlington High School.  I attend Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana where I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Reading.

I have been teaching for eighteen years.  I was a teacher in New Orleans for ten years teaching fourth grade for two years and second grade for eight years.  I taught at Trinity Episcopal School located in the Garden District of New Orleans, Louisiana.

I evacuated/relocated to Cartersville after Hurricane Katrina.  After taking a few years away from teaching to raise my children, I went back.  First, I was at  Primrose School at Bentwater and then Cartersville Primary School.  I am beginning my seventh year at CPS teaching First Grade.

I serve as Grade Chair for First Grade.  I am on the School Governance Council as well.

I was born and raised in Cartersville, Georgia.  I am glad to be back home after living in New Orleans for 15 years.  I have three children.  My children are all in the Cartersville School System.  My son, Davis, is at Cartersville High School, my daughter, Elizabeth, is at Cartersville Middle School, and my son, William is at Cartersville Elementary School.

I love teaching and I am so glad to be teaching at Cartersville Primary School.  Go Canes!  We are Canes Proud and Strong!
