Subjects Taught
Second Grade

I am a product of Cartersville City Schools!  I was born and raised in Cartersville and graduated from CHS in 1993.  I then went to Kennesaw State University and graduated in 1997 as cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.  Ten years later, I received my Master of Arts degree from Piedmont College in Instructional Leadership with a minor in Curriculum and Instruction. My latest educational endeaver led me to the completion of my Applied Dissertation from NOVA Southeastern University so I now have an Educational Doctorate degree in Instructional Leadership with a minor in Curriculum and Instruction.

I am currently in my twentieth year as a classroom teacher.  I began my career at Pine Log Elementary as a kindergarten teacher.  I then taught first grade the following three years before moving to Cartersville Primary School.  In the past fifteen years, I have taught kindergarten, first and second grades.  I am currently teaching second grade.

First and foremost, I am a mama to two precious children, Josh and Juliana, who have my whole heart!  The love of my life is a special fireman, Daniel.  They all keep me very busy yet grounded.  I love children and making a difference in their lives. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends and seeing and making people laugh.
