My name is Renee Dittmer.  I earned an Associate of Science degree from Floyd College in 2001.  I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Shorter College in 2002.  I earned a Masters in Educational Administration from Jacksonville State University in 2006.  Currently, I am pursuing a Doctoral degree in Instructional Leadership from NOVA Southeastern University.  This is my fifteenth year at Cartersville Primary School as a certified classroom teacher.  Prior to earning my degrees, I worked for three years as a Paraprofessional in a K/1 multiage class at Cartersville Primary School. Also, I have worked for three years with young children at Montessori Children's World in Cartersville.  

My husband, Danny, works for Federal Express.  We have been happily married for twenty-eight years.  We have three children;  Thad (age 27), who has earned an Associate degree from Georgia Highlands College, works at Shaw Industries and is married to Whitney, Molly (age 25) graduated from Chattahoochee Technical College and works as an LPN for The Little Clinic inside Kroger  (has 2 sons), and Ben (age 23), who has an Associate degree in Pre-Engineering from Calhoun Community College in Decatur, Alabama (on a baseball scholarship). Ben graduated in July, 2016 with a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Poly Tech in Marietta. He is currently working as a Processing Engineer for Shaw in Bainbridge, GA.  My husband and I are very proud grandparents.  Landon is 7 years old (in first grade at CPS) and Lennox is 2 months old.
