I have been teaching for 28 years. Prior to Cartersville, I taught first grade at Hood Avenue Elementary School in Fayette County. For the past 21 years, I have been teaching at Cartersville Primary School. I have taught first grade and EIP. Currently, I am teaching first grade and it's great to be back in the classroom.

My name is Stacey Cravey and I am thrilled to be back in the classroom teaching first grade. I am married to John Cravey. We have been married for 24 years. John works for Shaw Industries.

We have three amazing children, Zachary, Madison, and Wendy. Zachary, 23, attends Young Harris College and will graduate this year with a business degree. He has been a camp counselor for the past four years at Camp Laney and loves the outdoors and playing soccer. Madison, 21, attends the University of Georgia, even though her dad graduated from Georgia Tech. She was a top forty Georgia Cheerleader of the Year in 2011. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and enjoys spending time at Lake Oconee. Our youngest daughter, Wendy is a junior at Cartersville High School. She is a competition cheerleader for Stingray All-stars as well as a CHS and the only Cravey that has a GHSA state championship ring! Go Wendy!!

The two newest additions to our family are Duke and Boone. Duke is an Aussie Doodle and Boone is a Boykin Spaniel. As our children would say, they are the babies of the family.

We have lived in Cartersville for 22 years and have enjoyed watching our children grow up in such a wonderful community. We have recently moved into a new "old" house on West Avenue and love living in the downtown area.
